# 1 lodging in the Henderson Harbor area.

Second stay at the Bluff , first time June 2019 for 2 days this trip June 2021 5 days . The host Paul is the most gracious, beautiful, and peaceful view. Excellent breakfast.
Both guest rooms are equally nice with large bathrooms.
Would highly recommend.

Peaceful, rustic cottage with an amazing host and breathtaking views!

Our stay was beyond our expectations! Our host Paul made us feel immediately at home and like we had known him forever. His 5 course dinners are incredible and attention to every little detail. His breakfasts are like non other and we never ate again until dinner! The views were breathtaking and we never tired of it! My husband fished off the bottom dock while I sat on the top deck reading. So quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back! If you are looking for someplace to unplug and unwind and amazing food, this b&b is it!

An Enchanted Place

It is hard to describe my magical experience at this Inn.. From the moment you step out of your car Paul Bryant, owner and chef will greet you, make you feel at home and encourage you to leave your stresses behind and allow him to tend to your every need. He is such an intelligent, kind, thoughtful man that when I return it will be as much because of him as his charming B&B.. The rooms are simple but well appointed with comfortable bed, dressers, large washrooms with walk in shower. But you will spend little time in your room. There is a cozy living room where you can even watch Paul cook in inclement weather. You can choose to eat inside or just outside the door on the patio or you can sit at a romantic table at the edge of the bluff and look out over the beautiful bay while sailboats drift by. For such a low cost you get a full breakfast at whatever time you would like it... believe me you won't have to have lunch. Be sure to book at least one of Paul's amazing 5 course dinners.  You bring your own choice of alcohol and there is no added corking fee. Paul believes it is his job to help you leave your stressful life behind and learn how to relax and enjoy life if only for a day.  There is no TV, just fine music, fascinating conversations with Paul if you like and the miracles mother nature provides to make your stay a happy one and one that will make you want to return to when you can. If you have a cell phone you can likely get internet but who wants to disturb this escape from reality .. likewise no tv but I never missed it.

Charming setting and host

My husband and I chose this spot on the map as a halfway point between Lake Placid and Buffalo. We left charmed. Paul is a generous and considerate host, a raconteur and a gifted cook. The cottage sits in full sun overlooking a quiet harbor. We did not have time to hang out on the decks and swim, but the water was clear and tempting. The cottage shows some history in its timbered downstairs; it is simple and lived-in, and we slept well. It felt like a stay in a friend’s house.
